Alpha : Pretty simple, The alpha is the leader and is in charge of almost everthing. Their word is more important than any other rank. If the alpha has a mate they would not become alpha, In this pack they would keep their current role. Current alpha is Blaze (NewtCat)
Beta : The beta is second in command and enforces law when the alpha isn't present. If the alpha dies then the beta would take their place, Unless the alpha says otherwise.
Current beta is None... If you wish to become one of the two pairs of the betas *Master at explaining* Ask NewtCat, Although Don't be offended if I were to say no.
Assassin : This position is given only to a Changer. Assassin is the most fitting name for this rank because it is self-explanatory. They are also spies for the pack. There can be a total of only three assassins in each pack.
Current assassins : None
Medic : Pretty simple too, The medics are the healers of the pack.
Lower ranks
Lead hunter : The lead hunter leads all the hunting patrols, There may be two though it is rare. A lead hunter must also be quick to think.
Current lead hunter(s) : None
Lead Sentinel : The lead hunter leads all the border patrols, There may be two although it is rare. A lead hunter must also be swift on their paws.
Current lead sentinel(s) : None
Sentinels : There can be unlimited amounts of Sentinals, They are basically the guards of the pack. They go on border patrols and must challenge any pack wolf in the territory. If the wolves are rogue you are allowed to take them back for approval from the alpha or beta.
Hunters : I bet you can guess, The hunters go on all the hunting patrols. The elders, pups and nursing wolves must be fed before the hunters themselves can eat.
Pup watchers : These are the pup sitters of the pack. They will keep watch over the pups when the others may be out hunting or at battle. Don't be fooled into thinking that they are weak and soft. On the contrary the pup watchers can be the most vicious members of the pack, as long as you don't mess with their pups. They only watch pups up until the age of nine months. There is only up to about three pup watchers in a pack regardless of the size.
Omega : The omegas are the lowest of low in the pack, lower than the subordinates. Don't be surprised if they don't receive much respect if any at all. They are only placed in this position if they've done anything to disrespect the alpha. Sometimes a new member may be placed with this rank if the alpha is a bit mistrustful of them.
Apprentice : The apprentices are pups that are old enough to be a hunter/sentinel, They require a mentor to teach them of the arts.
Beta : The beta is second in command and enforces law when the alpha isn't present. If the alpha dies then the beta would take their place, Unless the alpha says otherwise.
